“AL WHY DID YOU OPEN THE PORTAL AGAIN AFTER IT TOOK SO LONG TO BREAK THE OTHER?!”
Al is blubbering and says, “I’m sorry brother!” and runs off crying. (manly crying of course)
Ed asks Al,”Who made the portal on the other side?”
Al answers, “Who do you think?”
Ed is thinking hard…
Ed answers ,”MUSTANG!”
“nice to see you again”, voice comes from the very top floor.

they run up to the top floor where Mustang is. She says, “hiya guys, a lttle help here”

and they here Winre grunting and yelling at Chescka,”I can’t hold on much longer!”
(Ed)”Winre?”
Winre gasps, “Hi Ed. Is Al there too?”

and for some unknown reason Mustang has Ed’s watch.
they bothe have the Wha? face again.Al asks how he got it back.(Mustang)”well you see,” (flashback time) we had caught Scar from inside of Lioure, and i had said that i would let him free if would give the watch back or at least let him live. he had said no for the first couple of times. then he told me why. that it had been sucked into him after it had opened with the phillosipher stones inside it.then i understood.but he knew where it was.so he asked for my knife and slit his arm where the Watch was. and he pulled it out wiped the blood on his cloak and gave to me.so i spared his life and let him go that night. so does that answer your question?”
Ed and Al shake their heads in agreement and blankness like they had no idea what he had just said. so Ed took the watch and gave it to Al.

Noah comes out of the corner.

Ed grabs her hand and they run out of the store. She asks, “where are you taking me?” softly.

they get to the mansion.Chescka is hanging by her feet. Mustang is watching them come through the door.,”hello, nice of you to join us”

(Mustang) “Who’s this?”
(Al)”Her name is Noah ,sir, she’s going to help us.”
“so she knows things about Alchemy”(Mustang)
(Al)” yes ,sir”
Ed gives Noah the watch. “I trust you to give it back when you are done closing the portal. AL is going to blow us up there. you will go to the sides of the portal. we will climb in by climbing up Chescka”

Noah put the hand that has the watch in it and presses it against the ceiling. Blue light all around as they are all climbing into the other world.all that is left is Ed’s head “now Noah throw up the watch!” Noah throws the watch it lands in Ed’s mouth.
The light is getting closer to Ed’ head and he hurrys and gets his head in. “The portal is gone brother”
“now we must destroy it on this side”(Ed)
They look at eachother and nod.
clap their hands and press them against the floor. The shining blue light shines in their ace as they’re smiling. and the shape is gone. for good.
Winre pumbles them and hugs them.

I just watched the movie, and I have to say, IT WAS AWESOME! It made me cry, than laugh, cry, smile, cry, cry, smile and be satisfied. I no longer need to hunt down the show’s creator! no. anyway the whole show and the storyline to it was fantastic but the ending was disopointing.
But theres this show i really like. it has only 53 episodes but the ending is amazing! it made me cry! but you have to watch every episode before it or else it wont have as big of an impact on you. its called “full moon wo sagashite” its a romantic comedy show and its got all the episodes on www.veoh.com. i really recomend it.

it is true that there are more manga than the episodes, because at a certain point the anime and the manga split plotlines, so there are more (and they are AWSOME)

I for one thought the ending was very good it did not give us what we wanted which was for the boys 2 return but a more realistic ending
and the movie was good for me 2 especially the fight scene with wrath and glutnee they should make another movie with ed and al trying 2 get back 2 the other world when they are 20 and 19 if u agree with me plaese post a comment

AWW! Mustang and Halkeye make such a good couple! I’m so glad to see he likes her back! After all he did and all his craziness she still stayed with him and still loved him they’re SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE together!
Damn it all this is just a sucky ending! I’ve watched 50 fuking episodes in less than a week and this is my reward?! Wheres the friggin equivilancy in that!? I just watched the movie, and I have to say, IT WAS AWESOME! It made me cry, than laugh, cry, smile, cry, cry, smile and be satisfied. I no longer need to hunt down the show’s creator! He or she made a great ending to an unfinished series with one simple movie! And for all you people who say that the movie sucked: GO SCREW A COW YOU MOTHER FUCKING TIT SUCKING SONS OF BITCHING HOES! I love Full Metal Alchemist!

Wooooooooooooooohoooooooooo!!! Bit chin’! The people that made this ROCKIN’ series KNEW that a plain old “perfect happy ending” would be a FUCKING INSULT to us all, so they made something totally different and it was BEYOND perfect!!!

no. anyway the whole show and the storyline to it was fantastic but the ending was disopointing.
But theres this show i really like. it has only 53 episodes but the ending is amazing! it made me cry! but you have to watch every episode before it or else it wont have as big of an impact on you. its called “full moon wo sagashite” its a romantic comedy show and its got all the episodes on www.veoh.com. i really recomend it.
p.s. im going to watch FM panic now

i don’t like the movie at all, it was the lamest thing ever, they could make it way better, i wish if they ended the series by the end of this episode, eventhough it made me cry the whole night.

You guys don’t understand, the ending of FMA is awesome BECAUSE it enede sad or “unfinished” as you guys call it. It’s not like the other animes, and that is why it won so many awards.
